MAC celebrates Selena, The Queen of Tejano Music

As a child, I remember watching Selena, the movie, starring Jennifer Lopez and balling my eyes out. Selena was way before my time and she was assassinated when I was about 5 years old, but after watching her movie as a young teenager, her life story and her music really caught my interest. Selena has left behind a strong legacy, and inspired countless musicians today, everything from her iconic diamond studded bra, to her upbeat music.

Back in 2016, MAC worked with Selena's sister and launched its first collection honouring Selena's 20 year legacy. The collection because thew best-selling celebrity collection in cosmetic history and I am excited to share they have done it again honoring Selena's 25 year legacy!

This new line features 4 lipsticks, 3 lip glosses (1 old favorite ‘Bidi Bidi Bom Bom’ is back), 2 lip pencils, 3 retro matte liquid lip colours, 1 skinfinish, an 8-shadow eye palette, and a black bedazzled makeup bag that looks just like one of the star’s signature bras!
