Hello lovlies!
It's probably fair to assume we are all in the same boat due to the ongoing and rising concerns of Covid-19. I have been working from home since late last week and although I usually do occasionally, it's been adjustment period. Some of you may become restless staying at home, but I have adapted very easily with being a homebody. Unfortunately, this is the new normal for the next little while so it's important to stay positive and make the best of this time.
Today I am sharing a few things that we have been doing to keep ourselves going through the work day and the evenings!
Try a new recipe with minimal ingredients.
We are all guilty of pinning recipes on Pinterest and never actually trying them! Go through your Pins and pick an easy one that's not too labour intensive and that only require a few ingredients. Try to be mindful of your resources during these times!
Netflix
There are endless options. I would love to hear any recommendations!
Have a mini St. Patrick's Day celebration at home!
All that's required is green food colouring, beer and a frozen pizza. Simply enjoy the company of everyone in your household.
Clean up your closet, drawers, pantries etc.
I try to keep things organized on the regular, but let's be realistic, it doesn't always happen. Use this time to do things around the house that you normally wouldn't have the time to do.
Workout at home
Getting your body moving for atleast 20-30 minutes a day will make you feel amazing. I feel blessed to have a Peloton during these days of quarantine, but Youtube is a great alternative for a quick body workout or even a stretch. My favourite go-to on Youtube is PopSugar Fitness. Check it out!
If you want to get out of your house, go for a quick, brisk walk. Take advantage of the slightly warmer temps!
Please feel free to leave comments with any further suggestions that may be working for you. Its always a great idea to share ideas. The more the merrier!
